University Club

About the University Club

The University Club, located in Dobson Road on the Sandy Bay campus of UTAS, is a non-profit incorporated association run for the benefit of members.  For more information you can download the Constitution and Rules of the Club (PDF, 44kb).

The Building

The use of the building is provided at no cost to the Club by the University.  The Club is responsible for operations, for providing kitchen and other equipment and furniture, and for arranging the catering services.

Catering

The Club’s caterer is the Pickled Pear.  All arrangements for use of the Club’s facilities need to be made through the Pickled Pear.

Membership

Membership is open to the University community (except for undergraduate students).  Anyone eligible to be a member (e.g. a person on the staff of the University) may initially be signed in by an existing member up to six times, then must join the Club to continue to use the facilities.

Membership is inexpensive – download an application form (PDF, 49.5kb).
